What is a steering knuckle?

The real name is "steering knuckle", which is one of the important components on the steering shaft of a car, ensuring stable driving and sensitively transmitting the direction of travel. The steering knuckle, also known as the 'sheep horn', is one of the important components on the steering shaft of a car, which can ensure stable driving and sensitively transmit the direction of travel. The function of the steering knuckle is to transmit and bear the load on the front of the car, support and drive the front wheels to rotate around the kingpin, and make the car turn. An adjusting shim is also installed between the upper ear and the fist shaped part of the steering knuckle to adjust the gap between them.
